Greg Boyd, President and CEO
greg.boyd@ergnow.com
Greg Boyd, president and CEO, is a founding principal of ERG. Greg,
a CPA and Microsoft Certified Professional, has more than 20 years experience
in system selection, design, implementation, data migration, training
and supervision of accounting and data processing operations in a wide
array of business operations.
In 1988 when Greg founded ERG his mission was to create an organization
that would attract the best employees and provide outstanding service
to clients. Since then, Greg has built a successful organization that
helps companies with business management application selection, implementation,
training and
on-going support. ERG is consistently recognized for outstanding sales
and service to clients and in 2002 was recognized as a Technology Pacesetter
by Accounting Today magazine. Greg serves his company by developing
and implementing the firm’s vision and strategic initiatives by
working with the firm’s leaders.
His motivating and empowering leadership style has contributed to the
success of the organization.
Greg is the anchor and spiritual leader of ERG.
After graduating from the University of North Texas with a Master’s
degree in Accounting, Greg joined the international public accounting
firm of Ernst & Whinney, today Ernst & Young. There he worked
in the audit and computer groups. Following his tenure at Ernst &
Young, Greg was the assistant controller for nine U.S. Wireline Units
of Schlumberger, an international oil field services company. He was
responsible for financial reporting, budgeting and general accounting
oversight along with various system-related development and conversion
projects.
Don Zelezny, Vice President don.zelezny@ergnow.com
Don Zelezny, vice president, is responsible for maintaining and developing
all strategic alliances for ERG. This includes technology companies
and integrators as well as a special emphasis on assisting CPAs with
their client's needs. Don has been working with the CPA community throughout
his career and has promoted these, and all, relationships for mutual
business benefit. Prior to this role, Don grew ERG's sales department
by putting in place structure and strategy that serves as the basis
for our business solutions team.
Don is a self-made man with a career that has always been centered around
accounting and business management system sales. During his formative
professional years, Don owned a successful distributorship for Safeguard.
He was consistently recognized for highest growth among his peers. During
this time, Don began working with database programs and developed an
order entry system. He is a self-taught programmer and developed a predecessor
to today’s CRM packages in the mid-80s.
One of Don's many strengths is to know where technology and its marketplace
are headed and his ability to be there. Sensing the curtailment of the
mainframe marketplace, he began recommending SCO UNIX networks and language
compilers that converted existing mainframe applications to the easier-to-manage,
more affordable SCO UNIX platform. From here, his passion for databases,
capturing information and using that information to make better business
decisions, became evident. Don began working with mid-market accounting
products in the early 90s. In 1995, he merged his firm, Z Systems, with
Greg Boyd's firm.

actively involved with the Information Technology Alliance and has served
on the AICPA Technology Conference Committee for the past three years.
Jennifer
Travis, Director of Client Care jennifer.travis@ergnow.com
Building
on the premise of deep commitment to customer service and a get-it-done
attitude, Jennifer Travis serves ERG clients in her capacity as Director
of Client Care. Her team is responsible for being an advocate for clients
and assisting with non-technical issues. Jennifer also is a member of
ERG's executive team, which sets strategic direction for the firm.
